I fell asleep with my worn in flippy M4 in some purple dye. Color looked sick, but it straighter by a lot. Anyone notice and increase like this or am I crazy?

If the dye was way too hot, you might have changed the flight plate some, sure. I've never had a disc fly different after being dyed, but I like to think they fly better :D

Assuming you're using heat to dye your discs, you need to be careful not to get it too hot. If the disc heats up too much, it definitely will change hot it flies. In most cases the disc plastic relaxes and when it cools off, it tightens back up -- and it usually shifts the parting line. In the cases I've experienced, the parting line moves up which will make the disc MORE stable. I once overheated a Discraft Surge... when I went out to throw it, it was more like a short NukeOS.

So, yeah, be careful on those temps.
