I assume you know how to use the map here to filter by ratings. If you set to 4.0 min to 5.0 Max and the radius to 150 miles (or is 125 the Max? ), you can click along your route and find all the great courses you are hoping people to suggest in this thread. Premium membership gives you a cool trip planning tool too.

Which route are you going to take? How long are you planning the trip for?
Your question is pretty vague and could include like half of the courses in the country. My answer will vary depending if I'm recommending the top 3-5 courses, or if you're planning a month long expedition of course bagging.
If you happen to come through Wisconsin before MN, I'll happily show you around Bald Eagle, I'll probably have 16 playable holes or so by the time you were to get here.
