Hole 7 at my home course. I wouldn't say it's windy like this all of the time but let's just say that when I show up and it's windy I'm not surprised. Don't know who these guys are (just a video off YouTube) but I've seen a ton of people struggle putting in the wind on this course over the years.

Exactly this. Windy doesn't necessarily mean needing to put hard/fast.

Something I picked up from ball golf is to putt through the hole. Since most baskets catch well, I putt pretty hard normally. When it's windy, I just gun it harder. Once you get the confidence up, it works well. HTH

I remember that one tournament I lost to a guy putting with a champion teebird.

He was hitting 40 footer and I wasn't touching metal.
