Just wear reef flip flops I never have a problem except for the thorns that will lacerate my legs in the woods cu sometimes my throws go high and in the woods.

i just wear my socks cause i wear $100 firefighting/tree climbing boots and the only thing my socks ever get to see on a dg course is my toes
if you're fighting fires and climbing trees so much you need to wear special boots for it while playing disc golf then I suspect you're going about it wrong. You don't have to play disc golf in firebreaks and get your discs out of burning trees, you can go to courses and play. No fire, and minimal tree climbing (some people swear by baseballs as the alternative
