What I'm playing with this weekend at Ted's Dred:

3 Wizards (new S for putting, Beat in M for driving, Thrashed SS for approaches)
4 Rocs (light broken in dx for turnovers, broken in dx for straight shots, heavy broken in dx for a plethora of lines, kc for hyzers)
2 Sabres (1 broken in S for turnovers, 1 E for a lot of lines)
1 Valkyrie (dx broken in for hyzer flips)
1 Flash (ESP new for moderately overstable shots)
1 Spirit (E, spikes and such)

Ted's Dread is a super technical (but still super long course). From what I've been told, my rocs and sabres are going to get the msot work out there.

Star Leopard - fairway driver
Glow TeeBird - stable shots

dx valk is back in the 150 surge spot, it's more controllable and the molf flies a lot like the surge anyway. dx teebird is out for the tourney next weekend and a newish gazelle is in its place.

175 s wizard, broken-in: putting
170 ss wizard, beat: upshots
168 s wizard, newish: driving, upshots

172 dx rancho roc, broken-in
170 kc pro roc, new
170 dx ontario roc: reliably understable

172 dx gazelle, beat: turnovers
172 dx gazelle, broken-in: flips up to straight
172 dx gazelle, newish: hyzer finish
170 11x teebird, newish: moderate wind
172 z predator, slightly broken-in: heavy wind, ud shots, skips, spike hyzers

172 dx valk, broken-in: understable distance
150 molf, new: max distance, uphill

3 Wizards
3 Rocs
2 Sabres
2 Valkyries
2 Spirits (finally throwing this broken in Nike...it BOMBS! flies straight for a long time, then fades with a huge skip.)

That looks like an expanded version of my bag. I like.

The biggest difference is that instead of carrying a Teebird and a Valk for certain situations, I've been using a few OLFs in both pro and star to cover all my max D and moderate wind throws. SOLF works great into most moderate headwinds that you don't need a Pred for. For huge downhill throws that need to finish a certain way, I've just been using a beat Gazelle. I can get Valks out a little longer but can't control where they land quite as well.

Mod Overstable D Champ Starfire trying Star XCaliber
Stable D ESP Avenger trying Champ Destroyer
Understable D Star Orc trying ESP Flash

Super Overstable Z Predator

Control Stable Champ Teebird
Control Understable Champ TL

Mid Stable Star Cro
Mid Understable Champ Panther

Putter 2 x S Soft Warlocks

any opinions on the top 3 spots?

It seems that given enough time that just one of those molds would suffice for all three top spots. However, I've only thrown the Orc and the Flash so perhaps two molds would be preferable for your game. From my experience, the Orc and the Flash are fairly similar. All in all, your bag looks good and you seem to have a good idea for what each disc will do.

yeah, that's basically my plan right now. the orion is a new mold for me so i'm taking it slow. the 150 molf actually flies a lot like my beat valk, but i haven't really spent time trying to control where it turns, so i'm just using it in the open. eventually it will make a good replacement (or for slightly shorter holes i can just throw a beat gaz). i have a 170 solf waiting in the wings for the champ tb slot once i get a chance to practice more with it. and of course the ontario roc can go away once i get a rancho well-beat. the hard thing for me right now is that i can't play a lot due to tennis elbow, so i've been limiting my golfing to a round or two per weekend. so, it's hard at the moment to (a) learn a new mold, and (b) break anything in.
