Army surplus straps

While I bet they would look cool on a bag when I think Military I think utility, not comfort. But all the military stuff I have seen is from when my dad was a Green Beret in 70's, they might have gotten better.

yah im getting a camo bag so it would look pretty sick. the main point for me is balanced weight, so i think these will do fine for my purpose. i dont really have time to be out golfing all day so long days wont be very frequent.

Holy Crap, you can't beat that price!

I think I remember reading in another DG forum, that these are quite comfortable.

I have an army surplus store not far from me. I think after the next paycheck I'll stop by and see if they have these there.

$8.99 for the straps, $8.31 for shipping

Still cheaper, but I would spring for the Innova Backsavers for $24.99 with free shipping that pay $17.30 for these. just my opinion.

yah i would go to local surplus store to pick them up for sure. they may not have these exact ones, but my local store has ordered them and im gonna pay the same price as listed on the site.

If I could get them local that would be a different story. Less than $10 with tax sounds better :)

Yeah, I think I'm going to stop by my local surplus store next time I'm up north and see if they have them. Thanks for the heads up. 9 dollars sounds a whole hell-of-a-lot better than 45 or whatever is that Fenix charges.

Yea, I am fine with the extra price for my Phenix ones the comfort cannot be beat. Maybe not even the durability by those army ones. Who knows I have never tried them or know anyone who has.

*Update*

Was by the Army Surplus just a little bit ago and decided to stop in and see if they had them. Sure enough they had them in both black and olive drab for 13.99.
I bought a pair in black and just put them on my bag. They work beautifully. I don't know how padded the phenix or other DG specific suspender straps are but these do have padding and feel good. I'll report back after playing a round with them, probably tomorrow.

honestly, for dualshocks i went up in the attic, found an old golf bag, and ripped the straps off it lol, works great, those military straps look like they would have some insane durability, and for the price worth a try, if they work out i might have to look into some
