What will be in Mcbeth's bag?

(Update) so far ITB:

mystery green Big Z/Z driver with a Discraft stamp
mystery blue Z plastic disc

This is getting good

well the sig discs are purportedly:
Z Force
TI Undertaker
ESP Buzzz
Z Zone

So, with the current DG landscape the way it is...

When I switch my bag over to exactly what PMcB throws should I throw my old discs into a river or a vat of BBQ sauce?

I think McBeth would love the Flick. Its very overstable and glideless, yet steerable and will gain decent distance on hard rips. Its like a faster Firebird. One of the best overstable drivers I've ever seen.

It's not a true stable disc though. I've seen a couple of people that can throw 500' get turn out of them on a flat drive. It's just that most people can't get them up to speed so they feel really overstable.

Yeah. I definitely don't throw 500', but I've thrown a couple Flicks that had high speed turn. The thing with the Flick is, it lands hard all the time and gets beat up quickly. Z Flicks seem to lose stability somewhat quickly simply because they get beat up so fast.

I guess if McBeth did throw Flicks he'd probably be burning through quite a few of them because they wear out so fast.

I'll agree the Firebird has more consistent beef and is far less prone to flipping on hard rips than a Flick.

I've only thrown a couple but there is definitely a huge difference between fresh-ish and beat in. Fresh they feel like they want to take my fingers with them as they go left. Beat in they hold straight way longer, I feel like 50-70' more distance for me and I'm nowhere near 500' power.

I really don't like the Flick. Feels terrible/shallow/sharp, way too OS for me, and then changes a lot.

Will we see see an uptick in DC discs in peoples signatures the next 4 years?

All of a sudden people will remember that the Force is a great disc, the Wasp can be the core of your mid-game, and shine some light on some newer molds like the Vulture and Undertaker

i had a Hi-Performance (150) Z Flick in my bag for 10 yrs. i regularly played one of the rockiest, cedar tree forests there is and it took that long to make it just an overstable disc. after 2 yrs without one i found a new one in the stash and it is now happily flying for all my hard hook/get out of trouble shots on a mowed course and i will probably never need a new one. i can't get more than 230' out of a drive with one though (that's 100' short of my distance throws).

I had a Z Flick in the bag for a while that started getting almost flippy. I'd throw it and the thing would actually bend right. It always had the hard fade, but I didn't want any high speed turn. I've since replaced it with a newer Flick that flies more traditionally overstable. I'm not really throwing Flicks for distance either. I like them for short, hook shot type drives or the occasional forehand around an object. Its like throwing a dinner plate. The Flick won't glide, but you know where it'll go.

Interestingly, I found 150g Flicks to be more overstable and glideless than their heavier counterparts. No clue why that is, but those things are nasty.

Seems like every other event he was using a random bag, not sure if that was due to flying into events and having only so much stuff he could bring or what. For a while it appeared that the Grip sponsorship wasn't allowed when the proto pack was a thing, and more recently that seems not to be the case.

So at the memorial in February are we going to see him using the OG Cali grip?

FAKE NEWS
That image of a poster showing his signature discs was made by hackers... I believe Paul has previously stated he was never a fan of the buzz. I bet he will be throwing a Wasp.

Part of his contract is his own line of discs. Not just his name, but actual molds. He did not provide any timelines on the podcast, but outside of 250K guaranteed a year, this is by far the savviest move Paul/DGI could of pulled off. I would imagine that Paul far eclipses royalty revenues any pro has seen from disc sales in the history of the sport. Paul has managed his brand very carefully over the years and it has allowed for moves like this. Not to discount how good he is - that helps too.

PDGA radio interview: He says the undertaker is in the bag.

Sounds like something else's is being released soon as far as some of his other discs go. He asked when the interview was being made available online and referenced something being released around the same time frame that would reveal more of his bag.
