The Dye A Day Thread!

This is a Pro Katana I just finished this morning. I should've not let it stay in for marbling as long. Takes away some of my circling I did with my Martha Stewart circle cutter. Haha. Still, I'm pretty pleased with my sunspot look.

definitely my fav so far, on a Z Buzzz, that I've done so far, the colors didn't turn out overly vibrant on the green, but it was my first attempt with shading, the hair is the same color just different dip times. It will make a nice father's day present, granted after I bought it talked to him and he told me he lost his valk and his katana :doh:

Ohh and in case anyone is interested it was a white stamp and it took a bit more acetone and cotton balls than normal but came off just fine and dandy.

I'm camping at Shorewinds the weekend after that tourney! Wish I could play in it, that new course is amazing (hole 13!!)! I'll be hittin' it up the following week for sure!

No, Hyzer's. This was a white Pro disc. The picture doesn't really do it a lot of justice, either. I took it with my phone.

At first I tried black and blue, but the blue didn't look as bright as I wanted (I did this before the rams) so I wiped it with acetone, remasked, and dipped it in red instead.

I forgot to put it in the freezer after the black, and it already fuzzed just a little :doh:

Liked it on my Nuke so I put it on my Destroyer. This is on an old disc, couldn't get the stamp all the way off and the sharpie on the back has started to come threw. I added a border on this one.

Enjoy! That park has really turned into a great DG destination. Both courses will take you most of the day to play, making it really worth the drive from Rochester or Buffalo/Niagara. I can't wait to play them again!

Now if we could do something about that wind...

My first multicolor dye. Learning a lot. The red is darker than it looks in the picture.

Did two more yesterday with my day off, Really love the colors on Yoshii, wanted to purple to come out a bit lighter but still is really vibrant, and the purple haze Abita cap which looks great, a bit of a bleed around the stamp. Those Millennium discs are a PITA.
