I am so bummed.

Slightly downhill and it honed in on one and killed it.

Dead.

Not a good memory, not one bit.

I always wondered if someone ever did whack a bird as they are always out there on the course, now I don't wonder.

Complete accident, I love birds and flying things.

So bummed.

I played a course yesterday featuring cats and peacocks. None got hit. Sorry to hear about the duck!!!

what kind of disc?

Star Sidewinder 150g

The duck was on the other side of the water and it just went straight at it.

Thud.

I'm sick about it.

I'm banking on it being a predator as this disc. Mostly because I want it to be.

I killed a duck one time playing ball golf. It was on a water hole...errant shot into a group of them...struck one in the head. I'm a waterfowl hunter and all...but I didn't feel good about that kill.

Not trying to steal your thunder, or say my experience was anything like yours, but I wedged my 11x eagle under a cows butt yesterday. There were like 20 cows sitting there chilling by the green and I had to pull the disc and putt with all them staring at me and walking into my putting line.

Sorry to hear about daffy.

Sorry to hear that Hangwing.

I saw a (large) dog get hit on a skip shot this weekend. It didn't get seriously injured, luckily, but it was limping a bit the rest of the night. :(

The first thing I thought was, "This is going to kill my wanting to play disc golf" My two companions are old old friends. The one starts to laugh, he didn't know it was dead as it was a good ways away. The other was silent. I looked at both of them and immediately called for a moratorium on any comments, like trying to put out fire with gasoline.

I figure you guys would finish me off.

Really, I'm telling you, it is a bad feeling even as an accident.

did you use the disc after you hit the duck?

Yes, it's not the disc that is the culprit, the disc does not matter.

My other friend goes, "write it on the disc" and for one moment, but then I knew it wasn't about the single disc, it's about just bad timing and chance.

Unfortunately, I think the chances of it happening again are slim but it still could happen if there are a lot of ducks or birds where you are playing. We were the first group of the day, we go early. I think that has something to do with it.

It's so quiet, if one of us fecks up a good shot, and the ducks are quackin, we say the ducks are laughing at you. The ducks now just leave when I am around, so sad, not kidding.
