I distill my thoughts down to one simple task. This task is for the disc. Hit that window, in the basket, stop rolling. The disc usually follows orders.
However, if I think of anything more complex, ex. a body/foot/elbow position, I mess it all up.
I would wear boots if I'm from where you are (Location: Broken Footsville).
I tend to thrash any tennis shoe on my home course. Those keens would last ~3 months, if my ankles survived (roll them on moutainous, muddy course).

Also, (maybe tied to te first Q?) how does a person log 20 courses in 1 yr played? (CA is big, courses far apart)

I've bogey-ed every hole on my home course. Oh wait, you guys are talking birdies. I always get those confused. Yes, at my home course, Redwood curtain, I have birdied every hole. It was the second course I ever played and is the only DGcourse in my mind.
