Review by Hazer in course Laem Sor

4.00 star(s) Hyzenbrownie Heaven Gorgeous, stunning views throughout the course. A beautiful piece of property with a beach and sea views, a creek, and lots of really interesting landscaping, steep hills, trees and other vegetation. 18 holes during low season, fewer for tournament layouts. Baskets are...

Review by Hazer in course Shu Pond DGC

4.00 star(s) Shu Pond Excellent mix of holes testing all aspects of your game. Multiple baskets now on many holes. Elevation and water in play. Teepads are not the greatest. Some baskets are homemade and could use some more or heavier chains. Amazing ambiance and environment playing around the pond.

Review by Hazer in course Bophut Hills Disc Golf

3.00 star(s) Bophut Hills Beautiful views, long holes, and lots of elevation change. Nice, DISCatcher-style baskets. Most holes play along hills so if you turn it over or come our early you can end up in trouble. Large pond on hole 9 in front of the basket, a creek that runs through part of the course...

Review by Hazer in course Samui Disc Golf

3.50 star(s) Samui Disc Golf - Maenam, Koh Samui Short, technical 9 hole course located in Maenam. Very well manicured and clean. Nice DISCatcher-style baskets. Several mandos including a triple mando on hole 1, and several OB areas including a road-and-beyond on the right side of hole 3's fairway that...

Review by Hazer in course Lockeford Springs DGC

4.00 star(s) Lockeford Springs DGC Beautiful, challenging, 18-hole championship-caliber course on a well maintained and manicured ball golf course. Nice mix of medium to long distance holes, with seven par 4's (par 61). Lightly to moderately hilly throughout the course, with some elevation change on...

    New California courses update thread

Call as far ahead as you can, and don't be disappointed if you can't get in. Caleb lives over an hour away from the course and is a busy family man so advanced appointments (weeks if possible) are necessary. Also, October is not be the best time of the year to try to play there. BOP is my #1...

    New California courses update thread

I've been there 4 times with a Prius. Your Imprezza will have no issues. Just drive smart and weave around the big potholes. Make sure you get in touch with Caleb (birds) beforehand. It is private course playable by appointment only.

Review by Hazer in course Sunrise DGC

3.50 star(s) Sacramento's First Pay-to-Play Great mix of hole types and shots required. Some short, some quite long, and a nice mix of left, right, and straight shots with roller and spike hyzer opportunities as well. Many holes play along the ball golf course and are well manicured but pretty wide open...

Prodiscus bag owners: do you still love it?

I have had a 30+ for over 2 years now and absolutely love it. Not sure about the complaint on the rain fly by Mr. Butlertron above. The rain fly has it's own separate pocket so you should never open that zipper unless you are using the rain fly, and once the rain fly is secure no rain should...

    New California courses update thread

It's reopening this weekend. Sleeves and new baskets are in. Drew Gibson is running the disc golf side of things now. His dad, Marty, is no longer affiliated with the course.

New Disc Golf Course in Citrus Heights, California

Yeah this is complete bs. The owner of the ball golf course is being a greedy a**hole. Disc golf saved his business, and now he is ready to ruin it again. What an idiot. No wonder the business was just about to tank before Marty and Drew offered a solution. Oh, and on a side note, the...

    Sacramento CA, and N.O.L.A

That first Saturday you are here we can certainly hit up Napa, Stafford Lake, and Golden Gate, but Finnon is in the foothills so quite a ways in the opposite direction and will likely have to be saved for another day. That Sunday we could play New Hogan Dam (two 18's) and Lake Amador (South...

    Trilogy Challenge 2015

June 6th at Lake Amador. This date may be changed, because the Trilogy Challenge in Lodi, CA is also on this date, but hopefully I will be able to play both. I haven't played a tournament with 3 new, unknown discs before, but it sure sounds like a lot of fun!
