THE MEMORIAL CHAMPIONSHIP PRESENTED BY DISCRAFT

For more than 30 years, the Memorial Championship, presented by Discraft, has been the first major disc golf event of the season. The tradition continues. It will be the inaugural event of the 2019 Disc Golf Pro Tour schedule.

The tournament is played on two beautiful venues. The jewel that is Fountain Hills, with its picturesque 75 foot fountain and Vista Del Camino providing the physical and mental challenges for the always stirring conclusion.

Will Simon Lizotte be able to repeat his 2018 performance and earn his second Disc Golf Pro Tour win? On the women's side, Paige Pierce crushed the field in 2018 but the FPO field has grown significantly in the past year. Let's get this thing started!

Next week we get back to live DG...

Looks like Dodge plans on having the postpro vids posted before the next live round...

From the looks of the schedule, it would appear the plan is the pregame show for rounds 2 through 4 will be edited version of the previous day's round. Obviously, it's going to be released as its own stand alone video, but I wonder if it will also lead off the live broadcast stream like the FPO rounds did last year. To be able to tune in at 9am on Friday (or Saturday or Sunday) and "catch up" on the last round before watching the live round without having to switch feeds would be kinda cool.

They could be using Skype or something I guess but I'd agree if they are actually there, i'd rather watch them play...

Really? I think Risley is hilarious

I thought he was really funny in that "What happens in Vegas" video. His commentary that I have heard, and admittedly I stopped listening so he may have gotten better, he was trying really hard and forcing it and distracting.

I know it sounds like he's trying really hard but if you ever talk to the guy that's really what he's like.

He seems like a funny guy. Just not my cup of tea in commentary. I also don't like Family Guy. The humor with a reference or joke or word play in every sentence grates on me.

I don't care what he's really like in everyday life, I'll never know him in everyday life. But I know him doing commentary and in my opinion, he's one of the worst of the pros.

I just want to scream at the screen; STF up! You're not funny and you add almost zero useful info.

I think its more like one fitty. ;)

Using the tried and true length of Ricky Wysocki's body method (used to determine the length of his putt at DeLa two years ago) if the height of the basket is four feet, then the height of the fountain is about 24 feet, in two-dimensional land.

A travesty I say, a travesty. This is making a complete mockery of our game. Steve Dodge is Satan. :p

Giving the sage posters of DGCR any credit for these decisions is a bit presumptuous, don't you think?

...and when did I do that?
