Maybe not the highest pucker factor, but the one hole I remember over all others is hole 1 at Leaning Rock in Wyoming.
Bomb, Bomb, Bomb...No idea where you're going, but who cares?

The perspective/my perception on this pic really threw me off. I thought that the carpeted tee area was actually the fairway, way far away. Seemed strange that it was this giant perfect rectangle. Then I saw the tee sign and was like... ok, that makes more sense.
even the great holes all over Harmony Bends fall juuuust short of iconic for me
Highly, highly recommended if you ever get back that way.
It's only about a 4.0 course. But the deep woods aesthetic is incredibly peaceful. There is better disc golf around, but Superior Pines is definitely one of my favorite courses.
This view at Diamond X was pretty amazing. (The hole plays up the hill and this is looking back from beyond the basket.)
do you have example? There should be a special category for amazing holes, that are neither big downhill throws, nor water carries.
do you have example?
#9 at diamond x (Originally Posted by WD09) is uphill & would fit your description.
i'm trying to think of an amazing hole w/o elevation or water... maybe one of those tight tunnels like the one at brp.
