I can throw a flat Star Destroyer a stiff one for headwind and have a few flippy ones for downwind as long as I have some lefty left side of fairway room. So, with the neutron plastic, I'll order a Time-Lapse at the minimum weight of 170g the lowest weight that's going to be offered. I'll keep my eyes peeled for them to come in at OTB Discs, and SunKings however long that may take, also looking for lower weight Plasma Octane and Catalyst for the upcoming strong wind season. My Achilles heel has been MVP/Axiom 13-14 speeds neutrons Relativity, Octane, and Catalyst that were crushed by last year's wind season. I was hoping for over stable this year and the past few months have gripped a Teleport, Dimension, and Delirium and they just don't feel right. No problem with the Plasma Mayhem the only one I kept from last year's wind season. The Plasma is easy for me to grip at any speed. For the time being I still have 3 Innova's at those speeds from last year and have picked up a few others to try out G-Star grippy like the Plasma's.
On a happy note, for about the past 6 weeks I have a happy what I'll call my summertime 27-disc bag putter thru 11 speeds MVP/Axiom with only a Star Mamba being kept. Arriving today Fission Wave 148g for those strong tailwinds coming up soon, and a Plasma Proxy 173g, loving the Eclipse also a 173g dropped a 99-footer putting stance, my longest in the stance a few days ago. I wanted it to be 100-feet so bad, I lasered it 6 times, but averaged out at 99-feet. Perhaps another time.
I feel like I'm now set at putter with the addition of the Plasma Nomad a few months ago, and recently the Eclipse Proxy straight in putting beyond the Nomad, I've dropped two and most misses around the basket, all calmer wind. The Plasma Proxy I'm thinking more of longer distance approaches. I've dropped in several with the Nomad in the 60-75 feet range and is now my go to in C1 in calmer winds. Other putters for approaches Plasma and Eclipse Envy, and Plasma Entropy. Strong wind putting from last year Plasma Envy and Entropy. See what happens in wind with the Proxy's and Nomad, already know it doesn't work with the Eclipse Envy. Having a practice basket at home the past few months, has helped big time.
Big morning Friday, first time in more than three months 15-25 mph wind and gusty, will have rounds 30-40 mph and gusty by the end of the year, insane. Going to bring the Nomad as a 2nd behind the experienced Plasma Envy for putting, and approaches. The F-Wave 148g to catch some tail winds. First time using Neutron Orbital 168g, and Fission Rhythm 167g in that type of wind. All the others in the bag have seen it before. Keeping both Proxy's at home, will work together next week in calmer wind. Looking forward to Friday, I enjoy wind play, just as much as I do wooded golf.
