Just got word from a prodigy team member that the m1 and m4 will be released before the d2 and d3. Two putters will follow shortly after! Sweet!!

Copied and pasted from the PDGA website:

Mid Day at Prodigy

The M-1, M-2, M-3 and M-4 midrange discs made by Prodigy Disc have been PDGA Approved as of 3-5-2013.

"Prodigy mid-range discs fly a consistent flight path making them favorites of the top players in the world. All four discs feature the trademark Easy Release Technology.

M-1 is an extremely reliable mid range driver, designed to be over stable with incredible consistency and control. The M-1 mid range is good for all conditions and flies as well into the wind as it does with the wind.

M-2 is an extremely reliable mid range driver, designed to be slightly over stable with incredible consistency and control. The M-2 mid range is good for all conditions and flies as well into the wind as it does with the wind.

M-3 is an extremely reliable mid range driver, designed to be stable for moderate power throwers and for players who need a disc that will finish left (right handed throwers) with incredible consistency and control. The M-3 mid range is good for all conditions and flies well in all wind conditions.

M-4 is an extremely reliable under stable mid range driver. It is designed for all players and flies extremely far for a mid range. The M-4 will turn up when thrown hard and will then have an extremely long glide and a soft straight finish." - Prodigy Disc

Well, it looks like they will all be extremely reliable and fly great with both a headwind and a tailwind.

With oh so creative names, it's a good thing these discs deliver the stats otherwise Prodigy would probably get lost among all the Westside and Lat 64 plastic.

Man, Prodigy needs better disc descriptions. I do not believe that three of four midranges fight headwinds.

It's not impossible. The M3 you could hyzer flip and fight the wind, the M2 and M1 you could probably throw straight and fight the wind well. The way the drivers glide, even the D4 I think can fight a small headwind. Depends on the release and power of the player.

They are going to be the toughest to beat out of people's bags. Prodigy has the Buzzz and the Roc to deal with, which is still competition. Mids have been a two horse race for years, so it will be interesting to see how they market these to compare.

I'm aware of that. But the cookie-cutter descriptions do nothing to sell these discs, which should be G-1 (goal one).
