Hole 9 at Lapping Park in Clarksville, IN after a recent storm. Course is less than a month or two old, doesnt have all tee signs or permanent tees, and this happens. Luckily the parks dept is great there and had it replaced with the practice basket within a few hours and ordered a replacement.

Sign says 630'... Beautiful fairway... time to let the big dog eat. I would set my bag on the bench, shorten my throwing stride, and one by one rip until my bag was empty. I like doing that every so often. I almost think this pic should be in the cool photo thread.

PS: MY Star Tern was made for this hole.

Saw elsewhere that was bolted. You can actually kind of see them in the pic.
That's what I thought, but wasn't sure. What course is that?
You don't usually see "benches on the course" listed in cons but in this case...

What? That's just real thoughtless... It's so easy to sink a post off to the side instead of in a concrete slab... What a waste there...
 :wall:

Still, I suppose we should be thankful they didn't pour the concrete so that the post/sign was positioned toward the front of the tee. :\

It's sad when people working on the course have IQ's below the course par.

When did you take this? Ive had one of my buddies actually throw into one of those lights but that was maybe 2-3 years ago.

That was taken on Saturday morning. I missed the light by 4-5 feet, then noticed a disc inside of it.

Thats all I ever think about when I play New 9 Hole 2. And its crazy how the light doesnt break from the disc, it just catches it.
