Short, but decent. 2+ years

Pros:

9 hole course set up in Badger Park in Peshtigo, WI. Pesthigo Flowage is across the road and makes for a nice backdrop.

Discatcher baskets, all in good repair and caught well. 1 and 3 share the same basket. One position per hole.

A good number of mature trees make up the difficulty here. You will be forced to shape a couple lines, but every hole had at least one solid path to the basket.

Good signage that explained each hole and had distance as well. Navigation wasn't too difficult once you realize Hole 1 is across the road. Decent flow.

Cons:

Natural tee pads. They were in decent enough shape, guess....they weren't really outlined. You just kind of throw from near the sign.

The park was busy the day I was there, and I had to be VERY careful. There's a big children's play area just to the right of the last holes. Also, holes 1-3 play somewhat close the campground, and could cause some issues. Be careful.

The course is pretty short. I played it with a putter and mid, and didn't feel like I needed anything else.

Other Thoughts:

This is a nice little beginner course, or a decently fun spin if you're camping adjacent. Kudos for that.

If you're a more experienced thrower, and have extra time on your hands, go play Marinette.

not bad; worth dual play with marinette 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jul 4, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

#4 is 280 foot with an extreme back handed/right handed heiser dogleg; takes very good shot to have deuce putt. Most holes between 200 and 260 foot; but large trees; especially tall pines guard all pins. Peshtigo River nearby. Good signage; easy to navigate. I played barefoot with no worries; well maintained and groomed course. No one else on course.

Cons:

Dirt tees. Campers and/or picnicers in play #1 and #9. It was July 4th and I don't believe this would normally be the case. Camping immediately next to course would usually be a plus.

Other Thoughts:

Wouldn't make a special trip for this nine; but worth your while combined with Marinette City Park; just up the road in Marinette. That one is a quality course.
