The course is in great shape today.
Bart is the oldest disc golf course in Texas and has recently been redesigned and refurbished. It now has a full 18 holes with all new baskets and new turf tees. Now, the course has four amateur tees to make things a bit easier on the beginners. It now has three possible start points: the Classic start point on 51st St., Shady Brook Lane and now has a start point next to the Bartpool. The creek crossings are a bit tricky so that's why carts are not recommended unless you are playing the "quick nine" layout. If the creek is flowing heavily, fording the creek could be difficult.
Original Description: Bart is one of the more challenging and diverse courses in Austin. Lots of elevation changes and hole designs that you won't see anywhere else. OB: sidewalks and roads as well as water. The thing that looks like a sidewalk on top of the dam is not actually a sidewalk (it's an erosion control device) so it is not OB.
