+ Tee pads are flat, long and wide made of sturdy concrete.
+ The course plays in a quiet natural park and offers some nice views of the Susquehanna River.
+ A few stimulating fairways through the woods.
+ Numbered MachX baskets have big 'next' arrows to point players in the right direction, but...

- ...That's kind of it for signage besides the info board. There were no tee signs at all.
- The grasses were halfway to my calf on almost all fairways.
-/+ The course is almost entirely level.
- Many of the fairways in the front nine throw pretty close to one another.
- Quite a bit of undergrowth and bushes all over the place.

I don't think I'm the intended audience for the course at Berwick Test Track. I didn't find the disc golfing terribly interesting overall, and it felt a bit too rough around the edges for my taste.

Credit where it's due: I loved playing link15. From the tee pad, you have to punch through a stand of trees and into a small clearing, take a sharp left and then deal with a sudden uphill putt with more trees. I enjoy fairways that change the nature of their challenge and/or elevation partway through.
Link13 was another fun one because it felt like throwing along a disc golfing equivalent of a red carpet. That was by far the cleanest fairway on offer here and such an attractive wide tunnel.

For looks, I've got to go with link3. It was a brief fairway, but I enjoyed the appearance of that clearing with a speckling of trees to dodge all throughout.
And I've got to mention links4 and 8. What's the deal with those? I don't think I've ever seen BMX dirt mounds in the middle of a fairway before. Be careful on them, obviously, but I will say it was fun to walk around on it.

Link1 was my least favorite. It played straight, flat and totally wide open with the park road just to the right. Thankfully, the rest of the course isn't like that.

Much of Berwick does play mostly straight and largely flat, but there are some trees and curves to worry about and outsmart. Link12 features skinny trees with a dogleg left. Link14 forces you to deal with thicker trees, a more narrow tunnel and a crazy dogleg right at the same time. Those can be fun.
Yet there is also high grass and dense undergrowth to worry about. On link5, I found myself lifting my knees higher than usual just to walk. On link18, I spent several minutes looking for a disc that landed in the rough not three feet off the fairway. And that's just two examples. If you choose to play here, you will come across more.

In closing, I recommend Berwick to players who don't care so much about picture-perfect upkeep or a course's extraneous features. The disc golfing itself feels as though it is geared towards advanced beginners. Regardless of what level golfer you are, keep both eyes on your throws.
As for me, I was glad to have played it but happier to leave.

- This course is in a nice setting against a river, and has some challenging looking lines.
- The equipment here is great, with brand new Mach X baskets along with nice and even tee pads, making it enticing to play.

- No signage at all.
I cannot overstate how frustrating this made this experience. The only things that are labeled at the hole number circles on top of the baskets.
There is no course map, no arrows pointing to the next tee,and the tees aren't labeled, nor are there any tee signs.
- There was no effort made at all to give any sense of direction on this course. In fact I had to give up looking.
- From the holes I did play, there is a lot of crossover between holes, as well as shared fairway space, which can be bad if it ever gets crowded.

First off whoever uploaded this with the directions into the park did not describe them well. It was very confusing to navigate this park, and took me 15 minutes to find parking (which there is not actual parking btw).
Head through the gated entrance to the park and stay right/straight. Go past the road material building (housing gravel, salt) on your left and make the left following the building. At the next intersection turn right instead of bearing left. (If you get to the boat launch area, turn around and stay straight) Hole 1 will be on your right (next to the fenced off field) . Park off the road across from Hole 1s tee pad on the grass near the park info board.

- I can't believe that someone would spend the money and take the time put in a course with quality materials and equipment and be void of all directions and signage. I was generally excited to play this course, but was immediately frustrated with the layout and lack of direction.

Final verdict : If you have time, try to figure out how to play this course. If you do not, I would skip it until signs are installed. It truly makes this course near unplayable.

Hidden gem. Not a lot of foot traffic. By the Mighty Susquehanna. Nice peaceful environment. Some really tuff holes, espically when your getting ready to put your guard down. Cool course for some big arms that toss over 400 + but there's a lot of trees. Fun course.

Not the best for beginners. Just a heads up, No tee sighns so at this point you should walk it before playing it. But it's brand new. So...

I look forward to playing this course a lot. Between Berwick and Bloomsburg having new courses is an amazing thing for the area. Both are way different and equally as fun. It's a great thing we are starting to have choices miles a apart. Thanks to all that helped!
