Pros:
The Buckingham Golf Course has a wonderful relationship with disc golfers. They actually shut down the golf for disc golf tournaments. They had 200-300 disc golfers there for the No Cal Championships. They have creative tournaments where you play one round of disc golf combined with another round of ball golf. So yeah, I'd say it's safe to say that they are happy working with the disc golf community.
$14 for a round and a cart is reasonable. I've played more than few golf courses where I felt they were really stiffing us disc golfers, charge as much as possible, while providing the bare minimum, baskets and no more. The atmosphere here is much more congenial. And the disc golf is better. Whoever designed the disc golf here knew his disc golf.
There are 18 holes of disc golf here on this 9 hole golf course. There are two tees (red and blue) on each hole. It's pretty easy to just throw from each on every hole. Heck, with the cart you just zip from one side of the fairway to the other. The tee signs are small plastic ones. You have to get fairly close to actually read one. The pads are mostly natural and the hole distances range from the low 100's to # 13 Blues 1200' par 5. I think they is plenty of room for most of us to let loose.
The baskets are a white DGA model with blue lettering. Although, not my favorite look in baskets, they certainly are more than adequate.
I loved # 8's basket placement. I had almost given up when I noticed it set up behind a huge rock by the path and neighboring houses.
Red # 10 gets my vote as the signature hole on this course. It's one of the shorter holes here at 276' but easily has the most character of any. The tee is under a large tree with branches hanging over in front of you which forces you to throw a low tunnel shot over the golf green. The basket is positioned down in a smallish gully surrounded by some larger trees. It's not overly difficult but it is overly lovely. I think other players might cast their vote for # 17 with the basket set on kind of a peninsula with the lake behind the basket and kind of a swampy ditch in front. It plays 390' from the blues throwing across the fairway and just 238' from the reds but you're teeing off by the lake.

Cons:
As per any golf club course, it's more open than I care for.
Although I think $14 for play and a cart is a deal, some will see paying anything as a con.
Limited amount of shot shaping required. Lots of point and shoot holes.
With the last few holes playing next to the water, losing a disc is a possibility.
No concrete pads.
I wish the tee signs were bigger so as to be easier to read.

Other Thoughts:
DGCR information sheet lists very limited times to play. Also, the phone # I called said the number was disconnected. The gentlemen working in the pro shop was more than willing to be accommodating. Someone needs to upgrade the times and possibly the phone number, too.
The folks at Buckingham Golf Course know that the disc golfers can co-exist with the golfers and can provide a reliable flow of revenue to them. I believe this is one of the better golf course options available to disc golfers. It's kind of a trip having the golf cart. I think I could learn to putt while sitting in my little cart. How lazy could I become?
