Smallest 9 hole disc golf course out there 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 15, 2021 Played the course:once

Pros:

+Nice baskets. They are DGC and catch well. All in good shape.
+Tees are marked (see cons)
+Overall nice park with lots of mature trees, playground.
+Ok for beginners as they won't lose a disc, most holes are on the shorter side, and the wind is fairly blocked.
+All holes are ace-able by a lot of throwers!

Cons:

-The biggest issue here is that this park is simply not big enough for a true 9 hole disc golf course. It is crammed into a small sliver of land. This is one of those parks that is basically in the middle of a block with backyards surrounding most of it. There is only a small bit of street parking where you can access it otherwise it is all backyards.
-The tees are marked by a 4x4 wooded stake. However, they are pointing in funny directions. Usually, if you stand behind the stake and see the number on the side, then it should be the basket out in front of that location. On these it was kind of sideways and that made navigation even harder than it already was. The baskets were numbered but you can't see that from the tee. Once you play through once, the navigation is ok but the first time will be rough. The map on here is accurate.
-A few holes play very close to backyards. 1, 2+3 especially.
-One hole played right through the playground. Another's best line was just around it. The park is small enough that 1 person being in the park might prevent you from safely throwing a few holes.
-Overall, this course is going to come up short for most players. It is fairly short and not super wooded. There are some trees that make you avoid certain lines but not enough for me to want to play this course again.
-Tees are grass/natural. They are in ok shape. If it gets wet, they could be a mess.

Other Thoughts:

+Overall, the designer did a decent job with the very limited land that they had to work with. The park is very, very small for a disc golf course.
+I probably wouldn't play here unless you are a big course bagger or if your backyard is up against the course. I wouldn't mind having a course in my backyard for some practice tosses or a quick 15-20 min round
+Overall, my fun factor was higher than it normally is for 1.0 rated courses. That is due to the fact that I played when nobody was there and it was fun to run a few aces.

Would be a problem if other people are using the park 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 22, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

+ Decent Baskets
+ Enough variety and trees to keep you entertained

Cons:

- Nearby playground equipment and picnic benches could be a problem if other people are using the park
- Course navigation is tricky, Check the map on here! The baskets are numbered but its not obvious at the tee which basket you are aiming for
- No teepads (but there are posts marking the tee spots)
- Hole 2 and 3 play along side some people's yards

Other Thoughts:

Ok course if you are the only people using the park. Whoever did the layout did a good job with what they had to work with. The playground equipment is in the way on at least 2 holes and would be a problem if there were kids playing. Not much room to open up here. Good course though for introducing kids/new people to the sport. Even though I rated it 1 disc I would play it again.
