The water looms large on #9: it's right in front of the tee, requiring a carry of about 200'. There's plenty of room out past the water though - the challenge is not allowing the water to get in your head on the tee. You can play a drop zone across the water to the right - near the shed.

The water guards a skinny green. it's an obvious lay-up. But you want to get as close as you can, because your upshot has to land in a fairly narrow range. It's also possible to play entirely around the water hazard on this hole.

The hole sets up nicely for a RHFH: cheat close to the rough on the left to swing it in at the pin.
