Pros:
Nice Tee signs
Course had some major hurricane damage, but has been cleaned up pretty well. Still rough in a few spots, but otherwise very good.

3 baskets were damaged and need to be replaced. The course is still playable.
This course might be a little challenging for new players, but is not a championship level course either. For me it was perfect.

Other Thoughts:
I admit I was not expecting much from this course. Another camp course thrown together in an open field is what I was expecting.
While the course is not for a seasoned pro, it was fun to play for me.
First tee is across from the office throwing up to a grove of tree's.
2nd hole was a nice little shot down the hill but this basket was literally flattened when I played it.
3rd hole is a nice drive though trees
4th hole is on the edge of the rough, hole is hidden about 300ft.
Hole 5 is a run of the mill shot but the tee and basket were lost to the hurricane.
Hole 6 is your first longer hole, slightly up a hill and is a pretty good little pull.
Hole 7 another longer throw with the road playing OB.
Holes 8, 9 and 10 are in the woods and are you best ace runs of the course. All under 200ft.
Then you come to the signature hole of the course.
Hole 11 is nearly 600ft down a row of trees with OB on your left. The basket is sitting on top of a 25ft tall mound of dirt. The green drops off quickly behind the basket so don't overthrow your upshot.
Then your back to what you would expect for a camp course with holes between from 200 to 280ft throwing though the trees and a few buildings.
What I liked about this course is that it was not just a pitch and putt. The short holes in the woods required some accuracy and gave you some ace runs. Yet if you off, you are in trouble.
Then you actually have a few holes you can really rip your drive on.
Would I play here again? Yes, I enjoyed this course enough, would love to play it when they replace the damaged baskets and the grounds has had some more time to be cleaned up.
If your driving near Dry Branch, give them a call and see if you can sneak in a round. Best time would be when there are no campers at the camp. (winter is the best time to play camp courses)
