Pros:
Being a beginner to disc golf, I felt that this was a good learning course. It is a shorter distance layout, that allows you to work on the fundamentals of your throws. You can focus more on shot placement and flight characteristics rather than needing to overpower your throws for distance. The course layout makes good use of a smaller area to fit 18 holes into, and accommodates large open areas, as well as baskets that are place to work on anyhyzer/ hyzer shots. There are straight tunnel shots, a couple of elevation changes and a few wooded baskets.
Cons:
The tee boxes are nothing mode than a worn patch of dirt next to a marker. This can cause them to be nothing but mud depending on how recent a rain. Ticks are present and at least one basket and one tee box are nestled right inside a closely wooded area. The trees are evergreens and gooseberry and can form troublesome boundaries should a disc get lost or stuck. Because most of the trees line the perimeter, and several baskets are in the wide open, wind can play havoc with your discs. Probably a good learning tool.
Other Thoughts:
A good course for beginners. I definitely will go back because I need the practice and it gives plenty of chances for learning without frustration.
