There are places where shorter, easier courses are appropriate. One of those is at college recreation complexes, where discs can often be rented and new players might try the game. This one fits the bill. It's a short easy course in a nice facility with nice baskets that should leave a good impression on first timers. It helps that the park aesthetically pleasing with several points on the course offering lake views. For all that, it does feature some actual throwing lines. With some wooded fairways.

The course remains only what it is. A short beginner-level course without much appeal for experienced players. And at nine holes, it probably isn't worth going out of your way for with better courses in town.

Remember to check the schedule. The gates are not always open.
