4 Nice Baskets in a park 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 4, 2022 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Nice Patriot Baskets
-Quick Play
-A Few trees to work around

Cons:

-No tees
-No signage
-Lots of other park activities
-No elevation

Other Thoughts:

Garwin Park hosts four baskets in its mixed use park in the ~500 person town of Garwin, IA. Located just south of the downtown area, the park is good size for a small town with a playground, gazebo, a few shelters and a couple of basketball courts. The baskets were added in 2022 and at this time, there is no defined tees or any signage. What makes the most sense is to start at the small library next to the playground area. Play from there is clockwise. The town is a little remote, so this wouldn't be a warm up for anyplace else. It would be an added activity for those already in the park. Like to see that, but definitely not a destination. Could actually be room for another couple of baskets to make a more cohesive course. Add some teepads and signage to add to the rating. If I happened to be in Garwin, I'd spend 20-30 minutes for 2-3 rounds. Nothing to go out of your way for, unless you're bagging.
