Beautiful views of the Wallkill River and Shawnangunk Mountain ridge line. Holes range from 228' to 515'. It is a moderately wooded course with several tight corridor shots and several very open shots. A mixed bag of uphill, downhill and straight away shots.
Tee pads are currently natural but concreted is being planned for later this year (2017). There are multiple holes considered water hazard shots due to the tee pad or baskets proximity to the river. One hole involves a shot across a small stream gully.

I-87 to exit 18 and merge onto NY-299 W. Turn left on New Paltz Bypass/S Putt Corners Rd. and continue for 1.7 miels to a left on NY-32 S followed by a right onto Jansen Rd/New Paltz Bypass. Drive for 1 mile and make a left onto NY-208 S. Stay on NY-208 for 4.2 miles to a right on Main St. Drive for 1 mile and make a left on Sand Hill Rd. followed by an imediate right onto Farmer's Turnpike. In .3 miles Murphy Ln. will be on the left, follow it into the park.
