Pros:
What was once a 10 hole layout has been expanded to 18 holes. Baskets are in great shape. The original 10 holes each have a short and long concrete pad, and concrete pads are on the 8 new holes as well. Course begins with some open lines and then goes into the woods for defined gaps to hit with punishing but fair rough off the fairway. Nice mix of forehand/backhand holes. Navigation is not too tricky. Other amenities on site. Three practice baskets near the fields across the lot/park road from hole 1. Tee signs are really nice and accurate.
Cons:
First ten holes play around various obstacles that can be busy, but shouldn't directly interfere. Busy park road comes into play on hole 3, as well as a walking path by holes 7-10. There's no one real signature hole on this course. Lastly, it's a decent walk back to the parking lot once you've finished hole 18.
Other Thoughts:
The course is in a nice county park that is clean and well maintained. It's also less than 5 minutes from the interstate and filled a void between the Palm Beach courses and the Port St. Lucie/Ft. Pierce courses to the north. So it's a good place if you want a relaxing course to stretch out your legs and pick up a bunch of birdies. I was between a 2.5 and a 3 here and I'm going to round up because of the tees and the signage on the course.
