Pros:
Nice baskets that are powder coated orange which is the school's color.
Tee signs with distance.
Lots of parking most weekends.
Very little chance of losing a disc.
Good for beginners to learn the game.
Easy to get to.
Cons:
The number one problem with this course is the amount of walking it takes to play a round. The course is 2435 feet long and there is probably ~4000+ feet of walking to get from hole to hole. When I played there was another group and they drove their car between hole 4 and 5 and again to to get from hole 6 to hole 7. After making the walk I was wishing I would have drove too.
None of the hole are anything special. Mostly just straight shots.
Other Thoughts:
It was just too much walking to play a bunch of short, boring holes. For me this course could be easily improved by removing holes 7,8 and 9 and putting them in the front of the school with the first six holes. Maybe even make it an 8 hole course with a practice basket.
If you plan to play this course take a minute and print out a map since the layout can be a little confusing.
For a rating I am giving this course a 1.0. I did not enjoy the two rounds I played here. There is just so much walking to play 9 mediocre holes. My recommendation would be to skip this course unless you are a course bagger(if you do play park between holes 1 and 6 then drive back to hole 7.) If you are in the area looking for a quick round I would recommend Porter Park ~3 miles away.
