Small town course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 22, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

Lit up for night play
8 baskets
plenty of shade
memorable hole 7
Restrooms by the parking area.

Cons:

No tee signs
could only find a few actually tee markers in the ground
Basket #9 is missing

Other Thoughts:

This course looks like it has been here for a while, the baskets were not new for sure. However this course was not listed here. The map on UDisc is not 100% correct, I did find 2 or 3 actual tee's that were just boards buried in the ground. With all the leaves and pine needles, they are very hard to find as it looks like no one plays here.

this is a nice little pitch and putt course with no holes over 300

Hole one should tee off near the parking lot parallel to the road. Depending on where you tee off gives you a fun little shot with a few trees to navigate.

Hole 2 also parallels the road down to the edge of the park. You do have to throw over the walkway.

Hole 3 throws back and is a decent turnover shot around the tree's and with the creek on the right side of the fairway. The green is decent with the creek around part of it. Overthrow the basket and your OB.

Hole 4 is a simple sort of uphill shot towards the parking lot.

Hole 5 throws back down the hill across the walking path with the creek behind the basket.

hole 6 goes back up the hill towards the playground area.

hole 7 is the gem of the course, throwing down the small hill, across the walkway to a peninsula with the creek surrounding the green. It is also one of the longer shots on the course.

Hole 8 tee's off near hole 7's tee box back the other way down along the walking path. Basket is tucked behind some trees and hard to see from the tee. You have the hill to your left and the creek on the right but far enough away to be only a small hazard.

hole 9 on UDisc shows teeing off from the edge of the basket ball court and to the left of the swing set making the green on the edge of the small hill. However there is no basket for hole 9. I just played the tree behind where the basket use to be. You could play to #6 basket, but that means throwing though the swing set/playground area, so if any other park users are there, I would not recommend that.

In all, not a bad little course. It was fun to play. I actually got here before daybreak and almost played the course in the dark. The walking path you throw along or across on almost every hole is lit up with street lights, this puts most of the course lit up and playable at night. To be honest, if I had played here before, I would have played this then instead of waiting till daybreak.

Would I play here again.... Actually, if i was staying nearby, this is a fun little course for the family. For more seasoned disc golfers it is a pitch and putt ace run course which makes it fun in my book, specially that it is fully shaded. So yes, if I am in the area and don't have time to drive to a better course, I would play here again. (I want to play it at night, which I might do next time I am in the area)
