Pros:

Gorgeous course, one of the prettier ball golf hybrid courses you'll play, . The beautifully maintained fairways play up and down the hills, throwing over ponds and creeks, and towards baskets cleverly tucked behind bunkers and in the woods.
Special mention should be made of holes 9 and 18, with the baskets tucked right beside ponds, landscaping, and a water wheel. Also memorable was Hole 6, a very downhill drive to a basket guarded by a pond and large trees, with all different angles possible.
Unlike many other hybrid courses, this one is very smartly designed, clearly crafted with disc golfers exclusively in mind, instead of following the ball golf fairways all the time. OB paths require you to drive and approach with distance, shot-shaping, and accuracy.

Cons:

It unfortunately sounds like this course will be RIP soon, at least for regular play. I believe that the course was developed in partnership with the previous owner, but the new owner is less welcoming of disc golfers. Ball golf is very clearly the priority here now, and probably soon the only priority. Previous reviews have noted the total lack of tee signs or navigation, and that stems from this lack of support. Hopefully the course will be made available at least for tournaments on occasion, but that will take a lot of work from the local club(s) in working with the owners.
Putting the access questions aside, a few holes have extremely long transitions, which is often the case on hybrid courses. During Am Worlds, there was actually a shuttle bringing players/caddies/supporters between holes 8 and 9, with carts towed behind.
A few holes were perhaps overly demanding, in particular holes 16 and 18. Hole 16 is a severely downhill drive into a tiny landing zone surrounded by OB, before driving massively uphill to a hill-topped basket, neither shot being easy at all. Hole 18 requires driving over multiple strips of OB running across the fairway, with only very narrow landing strips of fairway being available. The second shot is then a long drive putting you into position to approach a basket surrounded by three ponds, essentially an island. While both holes are beautiful and memorable, they were probably a little too punitive and demanding.

Other Thoughts:

A beautiful and fun course, full of memorable holes and adventures for the advanced player. Do keep tabs on the availability of this course, particularly for tournaments, and best of luck to the local disc golf clubs in negotiating that availability for the future.

Bombs Away! 2+ years drive by

Pros:

Course is played on the golf course at Heritage Hills Golf Resort. The grounds are kept immaculate and gives off a professional vibe. The carts are a huge plus for me, usually golf courses give disc golf the runt of the litter when it comes to carts, but HH gave us brand new carts to roam in.

As far as the golf itself, if you like to throw far with minimal regard for placement zones, then look no further! You can lay into 14 power tee shots on this monster 11,000' course.

Favorite holes for me are the 372' 6th hole where you play a wide spike hyzer (RHBH) off a cliff over a pond and the 844' 16th where you have to manage a distance shot off a cliff into a tight (as tight as a golf fairway can be) fairway, then climb the hilly fairway to a perched green.

Cons:

Tee pads/signs - none exist at the moment so you're blindly following the course map. Just updated the UDisc app with the course map so follow that while you're out there. I'm sure the tee signs will be up before Worlds in July.

Course can become a bit repetitive when crushing down golf fairway after golf fairway with little regard for where to place it.
Many of the holes do play as: throw as far as you can, approach to either the left or right of golf fairway for birdie look.

Not a problem for longer arm MPO/MA1 players but for newer players/shorter arms, there's not real respite for them to score.

Other Thoughts:

Overall, if the course gets the support is deserves from the resort, it can become a must play in the York/Lancaster area.

It is $20 to play with a cart which I think is more than fair with the grounds we're playing on and the fact that ball golf is being charge something close to $60 to use the same fairways.

There is a fantastic pub at the end of the 9th and 18th holes. Can reload on snacks/drinks before heading into the back nine.
