Gorgeous course, one of the prettier ball golf hybrid courses you'll play, . The beautifully maintained fairways play up and down the hills, throwing over ponds and creeks, and towards baskets cleverly tucked behind bunkers and in the woods.
Special mention should be made of holes 9 and 18, with the baskets tucked right beside ponds, landscaping, and a water wheel. Also memorable was Hole 6, a very downhill drive to a basket guarded by a pond and large trees, with all different angles possible.
Unlike many other hybrid courses, this one is very smartly designed, clearly crafted with disc golfers exclusively in mind, instead of following the ball golf fairways all the time. OB paths require you to drive and approach with distance, shot-shaping, and accuracy.

It unfortunately sounds like this course will be RIP soon, at least for regular play. I believe that the course was developed in partnership with the previous owner, but the new owner is less welcoming of disc golfers. Ball golf is very clearly the priority here now, and probably soon the only priority. Previous reviews have noted the total lack of tee signs or navigation, and that stems from this lack of support. Hopefully the course will be made available at least for tournaments on occasion, but that will take a lot of work from the local club(s) in working with the owners.
Putting the access questions aside, a few holes have extremely long transitions, which is often the case on hybrid courses. During Am Worlds, there was actually a shuttle bringing players/caddies/supporters between holes 8 and 9, with carts towed behind.
A few holes were perhaps overly demanding, in particular holes 16 and 18. Hole 16 is a severely downhill drive into a tiny landing zone surrounded by OB, before driving massively uphill to a hill-topped basket, neither shot being easy at all. Hole 18 requires driving over multiple strips of OB running across the fairway, with only very narrow landing strips of fairway being available. The second shot is then a long drive putting you into position to approach a basket surrounded by three ponds, essentially an island. While both holes are beautiful and memorable, they were probably a little too punitive and demanding.

A beautiful and fun course, full of memorable holes and adventures for the advanced player. Do keep tabs on the availability of this course, particularly for tournaments, and best of luck to the local disc golf clubs in negotiating that availability for the future.
