When cut down, the left side of this fairway is wide open, and the bushes to the right (guarding the path) define your line of fade (rhbh). But when the grasses are uo, the basket is blind from the tee, and circle around past the green, so you might want to send a spotter to the bend. This one is long enough for me to grab my Tern.

Bushes have grown to make this a blind tee shot, and tall grasses in season intensify the effect. They also define a pinching line on the left at the point where your drives tend to fade (rhbh), so again, a spotter if you have one. Since the basket is really more like 390' than the stated 300, I go again with my Tern. Flipping something over to the right could also pass the OB path, so don't go too crazy with this tee shot.

No grass: wide open, and another chance to practice your longer drives. Grasses at 6 feet & up, you can go over if you have the 260' or so to clear. The fairway left does have more grasses off to the left side of the bend, so a spotter could be really helpful if you go either route. My arm takes a Tern over the top (rhbh).

Grasses cut: wide open, so choose your poison. When the grasses are tall, they pinch closer and closer on the right as you approach the basket. Either way, this is a Teebird shot for me (rhbh). Just don't turn it over into the tall stuff right. If you do, watch it all the way, pick a 'landmark', and start searching.

The bushes are enough to define the line in any season, but when the tall grasses are up, and eating discs, most folks will aim for an anny drive (rhbh) to stay left of the shrubbery but right of the OB path. Pretty much need a spotter on this one. I throw Underworld anny.

No grasses (like the pic): go straight at it as you see fit. I'd probably go Buzzz. But when the grasses are tall enough you can't see the basket, the safer line is to hyzer over the top. For that, I have a beat pro teebird. Newer players may even send a spotter around to the other side of the grasses to make sure the trow got clear.

The trees and bushes pictured have grown up to force a left to right shot if you want to guarantee a fairway landing, but bigger arms can hyzer (rhbh) over the top to the basket, which really is around 317'. Especially when the grasses are tall, I prefer trying to anny around with my Underworld (gives me a chance at deuce, and avoids a circle four, lost disc...)

Plays the same regardless of season: this is a wide open shot at about 260'+ (not the 226' on the sign), so I throw my teebird (rhbh) flat and firm, and let it fade in to the pin. I don't have enough arm to worry too much when the grasses behind the basket are tall.
