Pros:

- tons of elevation change
- right in town and you can play relatively quickly
- beautiful views
- good quality baskets

Cons:

- no tee signs
- gravel tee pads are very rough
- most holes are wide open and uphill, becomes boring quickly
- navigation is not easy
- feels like a lot hiking for not much pay off
- the only big downhill hole is very underwhelming

Other Thoughts:

Below average ski resort course, not worth going out of your way for

Mountain Disc Golf 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 18, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

The scenery can't be beat. The lay out is mostly easy to follow, although figuring out 7 can be a head scratcher at first.

Cons:

First 5 holes just an uphill grunt with straight away throws. Tee pads just dirt.

Other Thoughts:

It is a fun way to kill 45 minutes and climbing the hill at altitude gets the heart working. Anyone who makes par on hole 7 deserves extra credit!

Playing at 9,300 feet is really cool. 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 29, 2018 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Jaw dropping setting in the heart of the San Juan Mountains. Well thought design makes the most of the property. Plus, it's Disc Golf in SIlverton!

Cons:

While the baskets are brand new, the pads are still a bit rough. Only par 3 holes, but hole 9 is 600* feet. I would also recommend hiking boots as the course is set in a natural environment.

Other Thoughts:

This is a nice easy par 3, 9 hole course that's well worth checking out if you're passing through Silverton.

Beautiful place to play disc golf! 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 22, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

The scenery at Kendall Mountain is unbeatable. You get 360 degree views of the San Juan mountains while playing. Cannot beat playing disc golf in the mountains at 9,300 feet above sea level.

Cons:

This is a brand new course that still needs tee pads. Baskets are on the way and should be installed soon. Even as an object course is still one of the most enjoyable rounds of disc golf I have ever played.

Other Thoughts:

If you are in Silverton and have an hour to play this course it is a must for all disc golfers. You get amazing views of the mountains and Silverton. Also, the surrounding terrain is littered with old mines that are awesome to see.
