-Play off school hours
-Open field with 2 baskets at opposite corners
Other Thoughts:
Knoxville Middle School is near the middle of Knoxville, IA (The Sprint Car Capital of the World). At one point, it appears that there were 3 baskets in the open field west of the school building. There is now a solar array taking up a chunk of that ground and one basket sits up against the building on its side. I thought pairing this with Northstar Elementary would fill in 9 holes, but alas, no. The field is on the interior of the block that includes the school. You need to come up the drive for drop off of students to find, I needed 3 trips around the block to even find the 2 baskets. A couple of baskets for students to throw at, but no real lines to work or obstacles to work around. A flat field with 2 baskets...no longer a course...if it ever was. Especially if these students started at the elementary, it at least had 6 baskets and sort of a course. Skip this. It probably is a practice area at best, but with limited hours, practice for what? Find 6 more baskets and a city park to put all 9 up in. I will not be back.
