Ace Runs!! 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 17, 2020 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

The review from rocthecourse from 2014 is still spot on perfect. If you're looking for your first ace or an easy course to bag, this is the one.

The course gently introduces you with a wide open 51 foot hole and gradually builds up to 137 feet and ends on a 77 foot hole. The signature hole, if you want to call it that, is hole #5 because it has a slight hill to play over. Nothing scary since it's still only 137 feet, but it's the toughest hole out here.

The grass is mowed and the baskets are in great condition.

The chances of losing a disc are very slim unless you play this course under the influence of a physically impairing drug, which may actually make it more fun.

Cons:

The tees are a bit tricky to find during the first round as they are only 2 feet by 2 feet blocks.

Very little challenge. It'd be a good course to try playing with your non-dominant hand, I suppose.

Other Thoughts:

I aced #3, my brother aced #7. It's ace run fun for the whole family. It's clean, it's quick, it's easy. You should know exactly what you're in for when you play here after reading these reviews. It's a one-disc course with no obstacles and very little elevation, but it's a quick way to increase your course & ace count. :)

Pros:

Course is set on outside edge of an elementary school's playground. Baskets are in great condition. There are "teepads" by no signs, but the holes are short so the pads are pretty easy to find. Grass was recently cut.

There is playground equipment that is easily seen from all the hole so you could let your kids play while you play.

It appears to me like safety was the main concern when they designed this course, and as far as I can tell it looks like that goal was achieved.

Cons:

The course is short, average hole length is only 88'. Very little elevation and only a few trees. If you have a bad throw the rough can be quite thick.

Hole 6s teepad is hard to find, hint-after you finish 5 walk towards hole 1s teepad. Speaking of teepads, they are very small, roughly 2'x2' blocks dug into the ground, but the holes are so short you shouldn't need a run up.

Other Thoughts:

This is not a course to go out of your way to play unless you are looking to add to your course count. I give the course credit for having nice baskets and teepads, all to often schools don't install teepads.

With some strategic planting the course could be easily improved, just a few bushes here and there to force different lines.

-Chances of losing a disc here are very small unless you throw a really bad shot.
