Bad Beginner Course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 21, 2020 Played the course:once

Marked tee areas. Numbered baskets. First 8 baskets are visible from the tee.

Most tee signs and some tee stakes were vandalized.
Every hole was dangerous to pedestrians and/or for losing a disc. Here is the course hole by hole.

Hole 1: a 10' wide fairway between the road on the right and the pond on the left.
Holes 2: a 10' wide fairway between the road on the right and the pond on the left with the basket just short of a blind bend in the road.
Hole 3: an anhyzer over the pond into the duck feeding area or a hyzer over and into the duck feeding area with the pond behind it.
Hole 4: throws across the road with thick brush behind and to the right side.
Hole 5: an anhyzer over the duck feeding area and picnic table with the pond behind the basket, or a hyzer thru wire lines and tree branches with the pond behind it.
Holes 6+7: pedestrian pathway lining the left side close to the baskets.
Hole 8: road lining the left side fairly close to the basket.
Hole 9: a walk down the road ~100' past #6 basket, turn left up the wooden stairway then throw anhyzer over stinging nettles and other overgrown weeds following the pedestrian path to the blind basket which has been dug up from somewhere and is leaning against a tree right beside the path.

Other Thoughts:

Holes 6 thru 8 were in a nicely maintained grassy area and were much better than the rest, although still dangerous (see above). This course was totally inappropriate for beginners and families, other than the short distances. It is a potential deuce-fest, although aggravating, for more experienced players as most holes are reachable with a putter or mid-range.
