Course Is Muy Bueno For Beginners! 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 31, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

The Los Arboles DGC is located right beside the youth center. The park is small without much grass. It does have a small amount of elevation and trees to liven up the course. The course has a smallish course map at the start. The pads are small rubber mats. They're fine as long as you don't require any run up on 100' holes. There are small metal signs set on blue, wooden poles. The baskets are Mach II's. There is also a disc golf warning sign near the first basket.

This course would be a wonderful place to bring that beginner or wife or any inexperienced player. It's also a fun course on which to chase ACE's. Almost every hole is an ACE waiting to happen. # 6 would be a pretty tough hole to ACE considering the tree protection it has.

1. 129' straight with a little tree protection.
2. 75' straight, wide open.
3. 90' straight and open.
4. 110' wide open.
5. 110' slight uphill shot which requires a accurate drive between trees.
6. 102' slight downhill requires a good touch shot.
7. 117' w/basket set in and behind several trees.
8. 100' low, tunnel throw.
9. 146' to a basket in the middle of field.

Cons:

There were plenty of walkers out this morning. They gave the right of way.

Pitch and Putt distances.

Missing a couple of signs and two baskets obviously had kids jumping on them (leaning).

It's not the prettiest course around, lots of dirt.

Other Thoughts:

This is a course that I would come and play 5-6 rounds at a time if I lived anywhere close by. I would also have a whole bundle of ACE's by my name. Foe being this tiny pitch and putt, it actually has several holes that are somewhat creative and fun. Not fun as in a 400' drive, but fun as in, can you keep your disc below the branches and still reach the chains.

Just a super little course for beginners, kids, wives, girlfriends, seniors, players looking to score some ACE's and course baggers.
