This is the 1st DiscGolfPark established in the state of Massachusetts and the 45th DiscGolfPark installed in the United States. Course co-designed by Disc Golf World Champion, Avery Jenkins and European Disc Golf Champion, Simon Lizotte!
This is a great course for everyone with one teepad location and two basket locations (Short White Baskets & Long Blue Baskets) per hole that has the ability to change over the 9-holes. Moderately hilly terrain with a couple of rolling hills on a few of the holes to offer some challenges.
The Short (White) layout provides a great introductory, recreational level Par-27 course measuring 1,910 ft (582 meters). The Long (Blue) layout is a demanding layout that should challenge most experienced players which includes two par 4's for an overall par 29 measuring 2,685 ft (819 meters).
The two separate layouts offer a great differential making this course enjoyable for a wide range of skill level players. There are lots of opportunities to shape shots and even open-up on a few of the longer Par-4 holes.
This dual basket (Short White & Long Blue) course allows for lesser skilled and more skilled players to compete in the same group essentially playing 2 different 9-Hole courses at the same time. And this 9-Hole course can be played twice continuously for essentially eighteen (18) unique holes and the full 18-Hole experience.
