Pros:
Mostly wide open fairways. Good place to let fly.
Long/short tees
Dotted with mature hardwoods--pretty in the fall
You won't lose discs.
Cons:
Despite being located in the Driftless region, which escaped glaciation in the last ice age, and is therefore tends to be steeply hilly, this parcel of land is flat. Board flat.
Other Thoughts:
This was my first foray outside of Minnesota, and my second play in the Driftless. It's a wide-open former stick and ball course.
I think it would be a lot of fun for bombers--a place where eagles would happen. For my old arm, it was more like get there in regulation plus one and make a put for par. I doubt I'll make it back to this one. Rumors abound of better courses in the area.
