Pros:

Updated on 11/17/23 for new layout:
Here's the overview of the changes.
Major update changed the layout and added concrete tees and nice signs as well as putting 18 on a raised platform. Downside is the navigation gets really tough, especially in the wooded portion of the course. Some examples of this include the teepad of 6 being closest to 3s basket, directly in front of 8s basket is 12s teepad, and 10 and 11 tee nearly next to each other resulting in having to backtrack down 11s fairway to play it. You also need to backtrack after 12 and 15. There are significant walks from 16 to 17 as well as 18 back to the parking near 1.
Recently, there's also been homeless camping in various areas and the occasional addict found wandering in the woods.
Ultimately, the updated teepads and signs are nice, but do not improve the overall course which remains a 1.5.

Updated Review
This weekend I decided to play one of the last courses within an hour drive that I had yet to try out so I headed to the campus of Miami Hamilton. This course was recently expanded from 9 to 18 and plays through the recreational area of the small college campus.
Pros:
-18 baskets on a reasonably maintained property
-Some variety in distance
-A few wooded shots
-Makes use of what little elevation the area has
-Plenty of parking
-Not heavily used
-Nice pads and signage
-The occasional bench
-18 is on a raised platform

Cons:

Cons:
-The wooded holes are often extremely short, while the open holes tend to all feel the same
-The area feels a little too "rough". Many holes smelled like sewage, the campus is drab and not overly well maintained, and there are often homeless tents or addicts throughout the course.
-Hole 1 and 2 have crossing fairways. Other areas have overlapping fairways or baskets/pads that are too close for safe play.
-A few holes have long walks, often backtracking to get to the next hole.
-The rough was fairly short, but showed signs of not always getting mowed, which would make a shot on hole 16 a nightmare as it's over tall grass the entire way.
-14 and 15 play along a busy road that an errant tee shot could reach and you're never far from the sound of traffic.
-During school hours you must park in the student lot and walk 100 yards to the first tee. Hole 18 then leaves you on the opposite side of campus with a long trek back.
-A few holes play near walking paths, ball fields, and tennis courts. I played on a Sunday so I didn't see any of this in use but I imagine it could come into play.
-Being right by the busy road, litter seemed to be an issue

Other Thoughts:

It's not that this course is exceptionally bad, it's just not really interesting and lacks amenities to bring it up. The holes make use of the area but it feels like they tried to squeeze too much out of the small patch of woods while the open portion doesn't offer much of interest. If I went to college here or lived close by I would likely play here regularly as, at worst, you have several open fields to practice in. As is, I will likely not go out of my way to return.
