Other Thoughts:

A little nine in the woods with homemade baskets made of cut down blue plastic barrels - installed over 20 years ago, and then left to fend for itself. Take a minute to look at the pictures on this site - these baskets are pretty remarkable examples of homemade ingenuity in 1999.

It was the first of its kind in the area and was clearly intended for campers and others already using the park - it's an "added activity." It appears from earlier reviews that there was talk about building a "real" course 10 -15 years ago. As of now, that hasn't happened.

So you're left with this little 9 in deep woods. The tees consist of concrete borders like those found in parking lots (those things your front wheels bump against). They've sunken into the ground over the years; some are entirely covered by leaves.

Many of the baskets are full of leaves,a few of them still have numbers up top There's no obvious spot to enter the course from the park road, there are no defined fairways; so you just find a basket, check the uDisc map and start guessing which basket you show be throwing to.

Here's the good part (If you're willing to tramp through the woods and throw at homemade baskets): you really have to move the disc from left to right on several holes, and #9 is a surprisingly long 300 footer through fairly narrow woods.

So there's some challenge and fun here - but certainly not worth going out of your way to find it. It's a 20 minute distraction throwing discs in the woods. I hit it as part of a bagging run including two better nearby 9's (Misericordia College, Nesbitt Park), then on to American Legion
