its a mini course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Nov 20, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

The first disc golf course in luzerne county. Fun, challenging, sweet little 9 hole putter/mini course. Very short and technical. Course routs through mature hardwood forest, waist high ferns in the summer months can make looking for errant shots a memorable experience.
Most holes range from 100ft.~280ft.
Natural tees.
Homemade baskets. Plenty of parking.
Pota-Johns located at the marina during the summer.

Cons:

All of the negative reviews of this course are based entirely on the homemade baskets. The positives- scenery, serenity and fun factor far outweigh the negatives.

Other Thoughts:

Work has begun on more difficult and challenging layout. Stay tuned.

very nice 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 30, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

very nice course with great flow...
wooded chip and put. Perfect Ace Race course.

Cons:

only one or two real par 3 hole. I think both were parred at a 4. A really good player may be able to pull off a few aces, once played a few rounds.

Other Thoughts:

I shot a 20. I plan on playing again if and when I drive near there

Moon Lake, PA 2+ years drive by

Pros:

(Updated review from August 2008.)

The area's only true par 2 course.

The ancient relic will challenge your upshot game.

It' a true par 2 course that will challenge most beginner level players.

Shot placement is critical while putting into the blue buckets which will help when putting on a modern basket.

Cons:

It's only nine holes.

Other Thoughts:

The area's only true par 2 course.

It's really a great putter only or one disc type of course that will challenge your short game.

Since the course's installation in 1999, many a disc golfer has come and gone. But the Blue Buckets are still hanging on!
