Pros:
Each hole has three different pin placements. Some of the shorter pins give you excellent shots at scoring aces. The longer pins present excellent challenges that are difficult to score under par.
Course managers do a great job of moving the baskets around from time to time giving the course a fresh feel.
The tees are great and the signage gives you everything you need to know.
The park doesn't have too many geographical features but the course's design maximizes what features are present. Specifically, the course uses the park's trees to great effect forcing golfers to get creative with their throws.
The park is maintained well. The grass doesn't get very tall before it's mowed. The park has numerous trash barrels throughout and they're emptied regularly preventing the park from getting too trashy.
Cons:
There are no elevation changes since the park is completely flat.
For first timers, this course can get confusing. A few fairways intersect and a few holes share baskets. I recommend getting a hold of a map or using the UDisc app before playing. It'll save you a lot of time and trouble walking around figuring out how to play the course.
Depending on the time of day, the park can get very busy with non-golfing traffic. A lot of runners and walkers use the path around the park. Picnic tables are in play around 9, 10, 14, and 16. Some park goers will hangout in the shade under the trees where several fairways are located. Sometimes people will use open space fairways for soccer and football.
Other Thoughts:
Be aware, during the warm months, the park's sprinkler system runs for a while in the morning. Yes, the lawn needs to be watered, but if you don't want to get soaked, don't play in the morning.
