Small Town Madness

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 29, 2024 Played the course:once

Pros:

Nice Tee signs
Nice Cement tee pads
Nice DD Vet baskets

Cons:

A couple of the tee pads are in Circle 1 of the previous hole.
Playing across the lone ball field
Playing though a picnic pavilion
Distances on some of the signs seemed off

Other Thoughts:

Where to start, this is one of the reasons I like playing the small town courses. I love seeing how bad they can be.

Starts off innocent enough, a short 200ft hole from the main pavilion to a basket with a mesh fence behind it. Run the ace here, easy bird if you miss. (I did hit metal)

Hole 2 is on the other side of this basketball/tennis court. Another shorter hole with a couple of trees to the right of the basket, BUT the tee pad is also right there. Seriously, look at the picture for tee 3, the basket is almost in the way.

Hole 3, well other than being inside of circle 1 of the basket for hole 2, this hole throw across a nice baseball field. Not sure what is suppose to be OB or not. You have a fence in front of you and a fence in front of the basket too, but nothing marked ob on the tee sign.

Hole 4, well.... Picnic table pavilion, super old bathroom building and a very large tree to navigate. 2 ft from the basket is the tee sign for hole 5, yep, I hit metal on this short hole, the metal poll of the tee sign and my disc landed under the basket.

Hole 5 is just a right handed hyzer over the road to the basket, hole 6 is the same thing on the other side of the street, but #7's tee box is to the left of the basket. Hole 7 is a very short hole with a tree line to the right.

Then both holes 8 and 9 are wide open shots.

Would I play here again? Nope, you got a decent little nine hole P2P course down the road, and an Urban 18 hole course the other way. No reason to play this little course, not enough to it to play again.
