Richmond area's first course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:May 30, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

Private course with new baskets.
Beautiful lake in a very secluded area.
First course in an area that really needs courses.

Cons:

A lot of repetitive holes at the beginning shooting towards the lake. I remember standing at a tee and looking across the lake at the basket on the peninsula thinking, "This is a great hole!", but it was not the actual hole.

I played for free. Guess it is pay for play now. I would not pay to play this course.

No teepads and no signs.

Other Thoughts:

This course is actually in Ohio if you follow your GPS. The church just happens to have an Indiana address.

Beautiful piece of land 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jan 1, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

Beatiful acreage. Some decent elevation for a flat piece of land. The back nine is mature growth, with some challenging fairways.

Cons:

The front nine is very repetitive, hyzering to a basket beside the lake.

Other Thoughts:

Just moved to area and saw the rating, first course I played in Indiana. The woods around the course was not even used. Maybe it was off limits? Obviously a very trumped up rating by the boys who worked on the course! WOW!

Excellent Course in a Great Area! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Aug 30, 2012 Played the course:5+ times

Other Thoughts:

Pay to play on a course that does not have signs or tee pads and the grass is never mowed properly does not make sense. Course has been there for over a year and nothing has been done. Maybe with pads and signs it might could be something.
