Pros:

This course is in a nice, quiet little park on the south side of town. The baskets here are awesome, brand new DISCatcher Pros with a red band on the top. These are excellent baskets and catch great. Tees are natural and there are no tee signs but the course is still pretty new. It says on the main page that there are short and long tees but with no pads or signs it's hard to tell where. Baskets have the number on the band which helps a bit but it is really pretty easy to follow for the most part. The one spot that is confusing is that after hole 5 you walk back toward the parking lot and hole 1. Hole 6 plays on that side of the park with the pond on your left and a park trail on the right. Hole nine has you throwing over the pond to try to hit a little window you can see the pin through. Big arms can take a Simon line to the pin too. It's not the longest water carry but it's nice that they used the pond. Definitely the signature hole here. The lengths are all on the shorter side. Between 180 feet to maybe 300 feet I feel. The course is free to play and was well mowed and taken care of. The course is also permanent and would be a nice one to play in the winter.

Cons:

The first thing is the lack of tee pads and signs. While they're not necessarily needed here they are always nice to have. Even just one or the other really. The course is still pretty new so maybe they're planning on installing some eventually. As mentioned above the navigation is a bit tricky in a couple spots. 6 to 7 and 8 to 9 aren't blatantly obvious but they're also not that hard to find. We had a lone player playing ahead of us so we were able to follow him through. There's a good map on Udisc too which I looked at a few times.

Other Thoughts:

While not the most challenging course I've played it is definitely a great addition to the area. The designers did a fantastic job with what they had available here. Every hole except hole 5 has a least some kind of obstacle in your path. While not worth a long trip out of your way to play, you could do worse than this place. This would pair well with any of the other solid courses in the area for a good day of disc golf.
