Pros:

Well marked signs on course make it easy to follow. I liked the "open" holes. They had trees and good use of elevation to make it more challenging and fun. Atleast for a beginner-intermeddiate. Mowed park. Decent fairways going into the woods.

Cons:

Gravel tees aren't the best, but they work. Baskets 6 and 17 were too close together. Teeing off from 6, I threw more towards 17. Poor map, but the signs were great so really no need for the map.

Other Thoughts:

A better map design. Good course to work on more accurate throws.

Mini Riverside 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 20, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

+ The last 6 holes remind me of Riverside Park in St. Cloud
+ Nice usage of an already established park.
+ Excellent signage

Cons:

- Gravel teepads already showing wear from use (would have given 3.5 if they were concrete)
- Not a ton of shot variety
- Par ratings are a little off (play all as Par 3)

Other Thoughts:

A nice course to combine with Hudson Woods DGC just down Hwy 10.

Basic Walkthrough 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jun 9, 2016 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Course map at the beginning of the course.
Decent layout and fairly easy to follow course with directional sighs for the more obscure tee's.
Tee's clearly marked with sign post: Hole #, Par, distance, and basic map of the hole.

Cons:

The rough is thick on the first five holes.
The water trap on this course is a river.
The tees are loose gravel(difficult footing).

Other Thoughts:

Practice Basket - about 150ft hole w/tee for warm up and practice putting, very lightly wooded fairway for longer practice throws

Hole #1 - fairly strait shot, lightly wooded at tee, open fairway, rough is prairie grass

Hole #2 - slight bend to the left, open fairway, rough is heavy woods(left side) and long grass(right side)

Hole #3 - strait shot, lightly wooded fairway, rough is heavy woods, looks to have potential of flooding in low spots

Hole #4 - strait shot, lightly wooded at tee, open fairway, rough is prairie grass

Hole #5 - strait shot with a slight bend to the right from the pro tee, open fairway, rough is prairie grass and a few scrub trees, small pine trees planted just outside the green(may obstruct strait chip shots in the future)

[Hole's 6-12 are played on manicured grass]

Hole #6 - strait shot, lightly wooded fairway, no rough

Hole #7 - strait shot. lightly wooded fairway, no rough

Hole #8 - strait shot, lightly wooded fairway, plays along the river, only water trap on this course(if u dunk your disc, your probably gunna lose it)

Hole #9 - fairly strait shot that curves slight to the left at the green, open fairway, lightly wooded at basket, rough is heavy wooded area on the left side

Hole #10 - fairly strait shot, lightly wooded fairway with a slight downward bluff about halfway out, no rough

Hole #11 - fairly strait shot with a slight curve to the right, lightly wooded fairway, no rough

Hole #12 - curving shot around trees obstructing a strait line drive, moderately wooded fairway, no rough

In my opinion, some of the hole are a little short for rated par, but over all its a very nice course
