Pros:
A few trees scattered along the course are cute. Holes 2, 3, 4, and 5 have below god-awful northern course scenery.
Cons:
The fairways and rough/woods on the first 5 holes are absolutely riddled with ivy. It is almost impossible to avoid those nasty oils from the grass and the rough, so even if you land in the fairway, or near the basket, chances are your disc is covered in that sinister urushiol oil from the ivy. make sure to wash your hands consistently through these holes in order to avoid a reaction. The tee-pads are dangerous. They are made with loose gravel, mixed with large rocks, making it incredibly easy to roll an ankle. It also makes for inconsistent footing which forces you to alter your approach, which in effect alters your consistency and is a menace to your overall progression as a player. I only drive from the grass on the side of the tee-pads.
Other Thoughts:
This course is fine for beginners, outside of the stream that runs along holes 7 through 9. The course is extremely annoying for more experienced players. The tee-pads NEED to be replaced with cement. I can not express in enough detail how poor and dangerous the tee-pads are. My advice is to simply drive a few more miles up highway 10 and play becker, clearwater, or st augusta (hidden lake). With those courses so close to this one, there's no reason to play this course if you are an experienced player
