Windy today; otherwise, the course is in great shape.
Short course that is great for families and beginners. More advanced players will appreciate the designer's attention to detail and use of the limited number of trees. A few holes are wide open, but most shots lend themselves to one or two different lines.
The course traverses old city blocks of what was the original settlement of Prairie du Chien. A few of the original structures still stand and can be viewed from the course. Make sure to check out the beautiful flower garden and sculpture park as well.
